I am a maker exploring the contemporary nature of ceramics, led by materials and processes. I am often seeking avenues of the overlooked, drawing attention to the undesirable and creating intrigue through objects.
In much of my work, I use various methods of casting to capture segments of the environment within ceramic objects. Although working in a method of mass-production, each piece I create is unique due to unusual textures created through experimental glaze.
I am currently studying a BA (Hons) Product Design & Craft at Manchester School of Art. Whilst studying, I have undertaken a commission to create ceramic pieces to be sold in the Manchester Art Gallery shop.
